Danielle Lamb is an independent Australian songwriter, with a voice of both power and fragility that will relax and elevate the soul.

Her latest single “Shine” (3 Aug 2023) glimmers with hope, reminding us to find the silver lining in whatever life brings our way. With sparkling clean, synth-pop production by Andy Mak (Vera Blue, Tina Arena) and Danielle’s signature vocal layering and 90’s inspired melodies, it’ll have your arms reaching skyward.

With a talent for writing EuroPop, Danielle's collaboration "House On Fire" with Swiss artist & Voice Germany finalist Linda Elys, has already peaked at #1 on the Swiss Airplay Charts and amassed over 1.2 million streams. "Tell Me Something True", released by Danielle last November, was shortlisted in the 2020 Eurovision - Australia Decides song contest, one year after having her song "Ready To Love" premiered on SBS during the live final of 2019's Eurovision - Australia Decides Showcase.

Off the back of attending RESOUND Song Camp Sydney & SONGEXPO International in 2020, Danielle has been collaborating with many artists and producers, which so far has resulted in the release of co-write “Hollywood” by PENELOPE (The Voice 2021) in July 2021. Her collaboration with Arlo Sim (The Voice 2021) was selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) 2023 as was Danielle’s unreleased track “Whistle Song”, taking her tally up to 4 semi-finalist tracks across ISC 2020, 2021 & 2023.

Her music is eclectic, reflective & open with melodic & lyrical influences from an enormous range of artists & writers including Stevie Wonder, Gershwin & Sia. She likes to write from a place of experienced emotion and self-discovery, often with reference to nature & the ocean.

At age 15, Danielle performed at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival, USA, with the 'NSW All Star Big Band’. In the following year she returned to the festival to perform with the 'Californian All Stars' & joined them on their tour of Japan. These last few years have seen a more stripped back version emerge with Danielle playing Solo, using subtle beatboxing, guitar & smooth vocal harmonies, looped live. On a trip to NYC in 2018, Danielle had the chance to play an intimate show in Manhattan as part of the global SOFAR Sounds network. She fronts her sophisticated Acoustic Duo "Dusk", & Party Band 'Superstitious', playing for clients such as Lendlease, P&O & Commonwealth Bank. She's performed in many iconic Sydney venues including, Sydney Opera House, The Basement & The Big Top at Luna Park.

She continues to collaborate with artists & producers, creating new music & is always open to new opportunities as a topline writer.
